ReGenesis are very excited to announce a Genesis Weekender at the Half Moon in Putney. For those of you who aren't in the know, the Half Moon recently won the Time Out award for best small music venue and shows there are always full of atmosphere and excitement! As we're sure anyone who made it to our Lamb preview in March will attest.
Given the reputation of the venue, we are therefore very flattered to have been offered a whole weekend to entertain you and have planned two varied evenings of music covering our chosen period comprehensively.
On Saturday, ReGenesis will be presenting, perhaps for the last time, their acclaimed performance of “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway” along with some classic Gabriel era songs.
On Sunday, ReGenesis will present “Genesis - the very best of the Gabriel years” - a selection of the absolute classics in a two hour plus set, drawing on all Genesis albums from the Gabriel era.
There's a weekend price if you're quick - be warned, tickets will probably sell out so best to book in advance. At the moment you can get weekend tickets for 20 quid - you could buy six for less than the price of one Phil Collins ticket, even if you've bought the cheap seats and finish up sitting the wrong way round at the back of the venue, behind a pillar, next to the loos with a security guard eating a MacDonalds next to you all evening and going on about how he used to be in the SAS and could ‘ave the fecking lot of them and anyway he prefers Oasis.
So why not make a weekend of it, invite all your Genesis mates (or some Bieber fans who you don't like very much) and have a great time in London! There's so much to do here! There's... the Tower of London. And a very big Marks and Spencer. That’s about it, though.
See you there!

Recent shows feedback
Here's a selection of comments from around the web, following the recent shows in Devizes and Southampton:
“Absolutely fantastic gig tonight at Southampton. Really looking forward to Shepherd's Bush. Thanks for a great evening, guys.”
“Brilliant gig in Devizes, thanks guys!”
“Not only were they brilliantly accurate with their playing of this very difficult music, but their reproduction of the sounds of this 1974 album were as good as I have heard”
“A must see show”
See you at the shows this weekend in Holmfirth and London.
Apologies but we need to announce a number of changes to our upcoming tour, sadly due to circumstances beyond our control.
The Stage in Basingstoke has been cancelled due to problems at the venue. Those of you who have tickets can request a refund, or can come to the Shepherd’s Bush gig on the 16th (bring proof of purchase).
The O2 gigs at Glasgow (13th Oct) and Newcastle (14th Oct) will also have to be rescheduled. Refunds are available from your ticket suppliers.
Apologies for the inconvenience and trust me when I say that we are as frustrated as you are. We hope to see you at the remaining gigs which are unchanged:-
Devizes Corn Exchange, 8th October
The Brook, Southampton, 9th October
Picturedrome, Holmfirth, 15th October
Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London, 16th October
We very much hope you can make it to one of these shows.
